As you’d expect from a small car, the engine size has also been kept small, the Fox range has just two sizes to choose from – the 1.2 litre and the 1.4 litre petrol engine. Both deliver excellent fuel consumption and a dynamic performance. Ideal for driving around town, the 1.2 litre develops 55PS achieving 37.3mpg, while, perfect for more open roads, the 1.4 litre 16-valve engine, generates an impressive 75 PS, managing 50.4 mpg – creating a cheap to run, but still respectably powerful, vehicle.

And not only is the Fox economic with petrol, but it won’t cost the earth to insure, with a Group 1 rating for the 1.2 litre engine and a Group 2 for the 1.4 litre.
