Power is delivered to the Volkswagen Polo in a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, designed to deliver dynamic performance, impressive fuel economy and low emissions.
There are six petrol engines to choose from, ranging from two 1.2 litre engines with 55PS and 64PS to the impressive 1.8 litre turbo 150PS (available on the GTI), capable of reaching 62mph in 8.2 second with a top speed of 134mph. As well as three diesel engines, made up of two 1.4 litre three cylinder units with 17PS and 80Ps and a 1.9 litre with 100PS.
