There has been a rising demand for digital-based interiors and cockpits. It allows for more information to be displayed to the driver. The best part is they can customise what they see and accesses other applications. It really does improve the driving experiences for users. With this in mind, Skoda has increased the number of vehicles that can now have a virtual cockpit as an option.

The virtual cockpit features a super sharp TFT display designed to provide onscreen 3D with precision clarity. Its powered by a Nvidia Tegra 30 chip graphics processors ensuring that the virtual cockpit displays your information clearly and quickly. Best of all you can customise what you see before you.

If you prefer a classic layout, you can have the traditional circular tachometer and speedometer displayed to the left and right of the display. In the centre, you can have your apps or navigation map displayed. However, if a more modern look is more your thing, you can choose the information that you want to display around the navigation map. You can also have the navigation map display pictograms and can even have the display show you thing such as traffic sign detection and speed limits for the areas your driving in. There is also a sports option so you can monitor all your driving stats along with practical information. In total, there are 5 variations that you can customise to your preference in both style and functionality.

This is what the virtual cockpit looks like on the Kodiaq:
