The new four-seater CITIGOᵉ iV had its world premiere at the end of May and it was revealed that we would see a 2020 launch for the new all-electric vehicle. Fast forward to now and the Škoda CITIGOᵉ iV has begun production with the first model rolling off the production line at the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Škoda’s first-ever fully electric vehicle making it to the production line is a huge milestone in delivering upon the e-mobility strategy over the next few years. With the CITIGOᵉ iV entering the electric vehicles market, 2020 will deliver more economical and eco-logical vehicles to choose from than ever before.
Next year promises to be an exciting year for Škoda electric vehicles, not only is the CITIGOᵉ iV being released in 2020 but later in the year, the Škoda Superb iV plug-in hybrid will also be joining the Škoda iV range of vehicles. Both vehicles will not only be a great entry into the electric vehicle market but also a great way to better establish the Škoda iV brand.
