I had a problem with the satnav SD card which had developed a fault and neither Skoda UK nor my local Skoda agents in Gloucester seemed able to help.  As I had bought the car last year from Trust Skoda Wolverhampton I telephoned and spoke to Julie – she spoke to the Parts Manager and called me back, very promptly, to say there would be a replacement card available for me to pick up on my way to Scotland.

I drove up from Gloucestershire and called in, the new card was waiting for me, fitted and away with hardly any interruption of my journey – brilliant!

Dear Emma and Jon,

I meant to say thank you for the email/video message you sent me earlier in the week (Emma) and thanks to you both along with your other colleague when I called in earlier today, all now appears to be working as advised on the VW website.

The car is exceeding expectations, a quality vehicle, with technology that I have not seen on any of my cars before. The Tiguan is a quiet smooth drive, spacious and I feel I have definitely made the right decision, Andrea, Alex and Melissa are all very happy too. After doing a lot of research I decided as discussed with you Jon to go for petrol trusting that the car would come close to the quoted mpg figures and again I have not been disappointed, averaging between 43 and 45 mpg it is not far off what the Mazda was delivering as a diesel, 49 mpg.

I hope my visits to the showroom have been a true reflection of normality, a fine example of how Customer Service should be. A polite friendly team that acknowledge and seem pleased to have your business. You have both been superb, Jon for the deal you put together for me within budget, Emma for the test drive and seeing the sales process through to delivery. Collecting a new car is always a nice experience and letting my daughter Melissa be a part of that is appreciated, possibly she will collect her own in a few years time.

As I said last week it costs me nothing to say thank you and hopefully, it gives you both the recognition you deserve and the “nice warm feeling” that what you are doing is right. This experience is what gets the recommendations and hopefully both new a repeat business in the future. "I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation for the support I have received from your staff. So first, congratulations on putting together a great team!

My wife, Hazel, and I bought a used Yeti from your dealership back in September this year and we were delighted with it when we picked it up. 

However, whilst driving the vehicle home to Bidford-on-Avon, we noticed a problem with the running of the engine. We reported this to Philip Jackson and Alan in the service department and together they quickly booked us in to try to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, it turned out the issue was extremely difficult to pin down. 

Enter technician Darren Perkins! First, he gave his time to drive out with us to experience the problem for himself and listen to our frustrations. He was extremely understanding and was absolutely brilliant in assuring us he would find a solution. He went on to handle the whole situation very professionally and thoroughly and kept us up to date with his progress, reassuring us every step of the way!

The conclusion: Darren is a man of his word. After much investigation, he discovered the cause and fixed the issue! Not only that, he would not let us take the car back without first coming out with us again to make sure we were completely happy he had sorted it. He turned a really stressful situation into a great success, converting Hazel and I into very happy customers who will come back and buy our next car from you when the time comes.

On the back of this, we have taken out a 3-year service plan and look forward to many years of stress-free driving.
