Wolverhampton - Stourbridge - Redditch

Sadly due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 virus, The Adult Transplant Sports Team have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Football Tournament until a later date. This is to ensure our participants, attendees and staff are kept safe. We will keep you all updated about the new dates for the tournament, but for now, our thoughts are with those affected by COVID-19 including the cases reported at Solihull Moors FC. We wish you all a safe and speedy recovery!

We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting and sponsoring the upcoming Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team Football Tournament taking place on Sunday 29th at Solihull Moors FC.

The tournament is designed to raise funds and awareness for those who have both given and received donated organs. Raising awareness of organ donation and encouraging others to donate can truly make a difference to someone’s life. Equally, those who donate organs also need help and support after going through the process and being active is one of the ways that can help both in the recovery process.

The Adult Transplant Sport Football tournament was set up to bring both donors and recipients together through the power of sport. The teams involved include those who have been the recipients of solid organ, stem cell and bone marrow transplants. This tournament is a truly awesome way to show how the power of sport can truly bring people together and change lives and we are so excited for the big day.

We are proud of our sponsorship of such an amazing cause, but we need your help to make this incredible event even better! We are asking all our customers, communities and fans to get involved in several ways to help change lives for the better!

A massive thank you to everyone that came to support the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sport team during the information day at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It was a great way to pass on information about organ donation and new legislation that is being passed in May.

Both the team and visitors had a lot of fun. A number of our special prizes also found brand new homes with plenty of happy smiley faces.

Speaking of great prizes, we have added a special item to our auctions. We have secured a signed England shirt which up for grabs and is currently being auctioned. The current highest bid is £300 so far. If you would like to make a bid, please email smartmartg26@gmail.com.
