Since the T-Roc launched in 2017, the Volkswagen SUV has developed a popular following. This has led to the introduction of new models within the range including the T-Roc Cabriolet which launched in 2020. The T-Roc continues to grow in popularity which has led to and now Volkswagen has developed the all-new Volkswagen T-Roc.
The new model launches this year and features an entire range of improvements and trim choices that build upon the already excellent T-Roc. The enhanced range will now offer a Life, Style and R-Line model with various engines and interior options. The Life model, for example, offers a choice of 1.0 (110hp) and 1.5 petrol (150hp) engines along with a 2.0-litre diesel engine (115hp) all of which come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. For those wanting an extra boost, a seven-speed automatic gearbox is an optional extra in the 1.5-litre models.
The Life model also features an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a large digital driver’s display packed with standard features such as adaptive cruise control, interior mood lighting and lane-keeping assistance. The interior has received an overhaul to ensure that drivers have a wealth of comfort options available to them, combined with the interior mood lighting, ensure that you can drive comfortably and in style. There is a new steering wheel based on the fantastic wheel from the Golf Mark 8 that adds digital climate control tools to the T-Roc.
The Style trim features the same range of engine sizes as the Life but there is also the added option of a 2.0-litre petrol engine (190hp); this comes with a four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox as standard. Interior wise, the Style also features 17-inch alloy wheels, a remodelled rear bumper, LED headlights, sports seats and a large digital driver’s display all as standard features.
Whichever trim that you choose, you can clearly see that the new T-Roc has also been given an overhaul externally to better define the lines of the vehicle to make it more aerodynamic. The new enhancements also allow for the integration of the new IQ LED headlights (Matrix LEDs are an optional extra) that help define the exterior personality of the T-Roc.
The rear of the vehicle has been given a makeover and features a newly restyled bumper along with new taillights. At the front, grills have also been given a revision to better suit the contemporary design and feel of the T-Roc. All the new changes both for the interior and exterior feel like a breath of fresh air for the compact SUV which is now available to order.
