Like all businesses within the UK and indeed, worldwide, we are closely monitoring the impact that COVID-19 is having on our business, our colleagues, customers and business partners.

Following the Government’s message of enhanced measures to ensure that we can collectively all contribute to the slowing down of the spread of the virus, and ultimately winning the battle, it is clear that alongside other businesses we must act now as a company to play our part.

It is therefore regrettable that we must announce the closure of all Trust Group UK Retailer sites with effect from 24th March 2020.

Our workshops will endeavour to complete all work currently onsite but forward service bookings will be postponed and held within our system until we can advise a revised date. Customer new and used car deliveries not yet undertaken will also be postponed with a view to completing these deliveries as soon as is practicable given the circumstances. Our Sales Management teams will be in contact with all customers to talk through the options available to them.

Once we can gain clarity from Government advice on the timings of any opportunity to reopen for business and resume supporting customers, new and old across all their motoring needs we will communicate with you and update our position as soon as possible.

Our Trust Group colleagues have worked tremendously hard over the last few days ahead of what became clear was going to be some level of nationwide shut down. We would like to thank all colleagues and customers alike for their understanding in these unprecedented times. We will engage with our normal social media channels to update everyone on how we and our colleagues are progressing over the coming weeks.

Customers with MOT due dates are advised that for MOT’s required after 30th March 2020 there is an official extension to the current MOT held on the vehicle for a period of 6 months as advised by HM Government – you can use the link below for further details. All cars requiring MOT prior to and including 30th March are still required to have these completed as before.

Kindest Regards

The Trust Group family
